The Archtop Shop is an independent shop focusing on hollow body and semi-hollow body guitars, strings, accessories and music lessons.

Currently, this one man shop is an all clicks store with aspirations of one day opening a bricks location.

There is no physical retail store location at this time. Archtop Shop LLC is online only.

Guitar Inspections & Setups

All guitars, both new and used, are inspected, setup, restrung and have fret work done as needed by master guitar technician Charles Carter of Guitar Restorations Inc. in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

The Archtop Shop is an authorized dealer of D’Addario, D’Angelico, Guild, Pigtronix & Supro products. Contact me at https://archtopshop.com/contact if this site does not have an item you are looking for. Maybe you would like a large number of sets of D’Addario strings, a Deluxe guitar from D'Angelico, the Bob Marley A-20 acoustic guitar from Guild, a looper pedal from Pigtronix or a head and a cabinet from Supro. Please let me know.

Special Orders

Special Orders can be made for D’Addario, D’Angelico, Guild, Pigtronix and Supro products. Enter the product’s details for the item you would like to order into the message box on the contacts page. I will reply with a quote and an expected delivery date in an invoice for you to make a payment up front. Tell me if your billing address is in Maryland, USA. Thanks.

Find the strings just right for you with D’Addario’s string finder. After getting your result, return to this site and do a search for the strings. If your recommended strings are not in stock I can special order them for you.

Shipping

Boxed orders are usually shipped to the United States & worldwide via UPS. Smaller items may be shipped via USPS. I will send an email with a tracking number for you to follow your order’s progress. Note: A UPS tracking number can take several hours until it is registered on their site. USPS deliveries usually are in the system soon after the Post Office is in possession of the package. I may change your item’s shipping to USPS if the item is on the smaller side such as a set or two of strings.

International Shipping

If the actual shipping cost is substantially more than listed on checkout, I may send you an invoice. to make up the difference. This is especially true for international orders. If you are ordering a guitar or an amplifier to be delivered to a country outside of the USA, expect an invoice with the remainder of shipping costs. Your order will be processed after the invoice is paid. As an example, shipping a guitar to Toronto, Canada with UPS Standard (6 Day) shipping would add approximately USD $100 to your order. Vancouver, Canada adds around USD $115, also UPS Standard.
